Brad was on Kornblut’s show...

Said that he was surprised that Javan White transferred but that is how it is in basketball recruiting now.
Said they are looking at grad transfers, freshmen, and even regular sit out a year transfers.
Sounded definitely like he needs a grad transfer scoring guard to replace Reed right away next year. And a big guy to replace White.
I think they need to fill all three spots they have next year since they are playing in Italy over the summer in the University Games. All that basketball going through the summer to fall they need a full compliment of players.
Brad also said that they felt they were real close in getting Zion before he signed with Duke.

Why would anyone associated with Clemson acknowledge Kornbutt's existence.

Kornbutt still has a show? I thought he was cancelled. Is he broadcasting on YouTube from his basement? My son does that too. I wouldn’t waste my time listening to him either.

Brad was surprised by White's transfer and didn't want it?

Some were suggesting that he wasn't good enough. Guess he just wanted out.

Yes, Brad said that because he is a grad transfer he could transfer and be eligible right away again so that effected him wanting to go somewhere else. Yes, Kornblutt has a show syndicated on radio shows but doesn't have his own network like before.

I suggested that he wasn't going to start next year. Is that what you are referring to?
Do you think he would be a starter next year?

It's a type of diarrhea resulting when someone consistently hangs around chickens.

Google “South Carolina Sportstalk”. He is a UofSuC grad that has done a sports talk show, syndicated, since the mid 80s. He hates Clemson, but tries to hide it. Passive Aggressive to a degree with Clemson.

Since SC Net's Sportstalk went defunct, i have only heard Korn on 2 Midlands stations, both of which carry Gamecock programming.
Korn seemed much more comfortable being able to pump up the chickens all the time. I doubt the show is statewide.
Then yesterday he was playing audio of Tony Elliot after practice with no negative response. So i wonder if he is back to having a statewide show again? Some neutrality is required for that.
I know he is only getting the media releases from Clemson, but was this an actual interview with Brownell?
You know Korn is going to try to recreate his old show. Just wondering if he has achieved it

First off, I always liked Corn- was never obnoxious like so many hosts. I thought he was fair and balanced. Secondly, of course Brownell was surprised by the player leaving. Just another indication of his lack of involvement with his own players. He has no clue what's going on in his own program and apparently could care less- kinda like his approach to coaching. He's got it made financially(thanks to Rad) and his nonchalant attitude is obviously connected to that.

his dribble in the late 80’s and 90’s just to get recruiting news. He would play up all recruits leaning or committing to SCAR, and make it sound like they were killing Clemson in recruiting. Well, his nighttime signing day show was always a disappointment as Clemson would routinely be ranked far ahead of his beloved Gamecocks by the national analysts.
If you have ever spoken to him off air, you really get a sense for how obnoxious he can be.

Despite being heavily involved in the players' lives, coaches don't know everything they are thinking. This is much like a boss not always being aware of an employee deciding to leave for another job. It happens. Trying to make this Brad's fault for not knowing every thought a player has is ridiculous.
