particular order for tonight?
My guess is the order that I listed it because Bama plays LSU this week, so they want them to be #1 and #2 so the loser can still be #4.

that LSU is going to be No. 1 followed buy Ohio State.
The real drama is whether the CFP Committee has Bama or Clemson at No. 3.

Bama has to be #1 or #2 because they can drop no lower than 4th. No other team can claim #4 unless they can ever beat Bama. The pundits that know everything will fight for Bama until their dying breath.

Interesting read....CU has averaged 2.5 spots higher in first CFP ranking compared to the previous week's AP.
We may be pleasantly surprised tonight....CU has 9 wins too....others in discussion only 8...for this particular week CU could be #1or#2 and it be very justified...even in the pundit world.

Here is the concluding statement from the article on the initial CFP Committee rankings. Obviously, the article predates the "Cocktail Party" in Jacksonville, but do you notice that LSU is not mentioned?
"Ohio State is going to be the third team ranked No. 3 in the AP Top 25 that will be ranked No. 1 by the selection committee.
Alabama and Clemson will both be right behind the Buckeyes in the rankings.
The winner of the Florida-Georgia showdown in Jacksonville will leapfrog Penn State to take the No. 4 spot."

Espn , yes . Not the committee come on guys . I hope we are 4 , but don’t really care if we are 5 or 6 at this point . If we win we are in. If we lose we don’t belong this year .

I can almost guarantee:
LSU, Ohio State at 1 & 2 (pick the order)
Clemson, Alabama at 3 & 4 (pick the order)
My prediction:
1. LSU
2. Ohio State
3. Alabama
4. Clemson
Tonight is anticlimactic for me since LSU/Alabama is Saturday. Next week is more interesting because we get to see how far the LSU/Alabama loser falls. If Bama wins, they will vault to #1.
