I couldn't believe what I heard Spurrier say last week.

I flipped to that awful Paul Finebaum show on Sirius last week, and he happened to be interviewing Spurrier. Finebaum says something like, "What are you expecting next year, after coming off a terrible 7-6 record in 2014? And Spurrier actually replied, "Well, 7-6 isn't terrible at South Carolina."

What about all that bragging over the streak , and the constant lauding over the 3 straight 11 win seasons ? I mean , if you listen to some of these chicken fans take on it the culture has changed with Coot football , their expectations are now to be a top tier , win 10 type of team every season going forward. Shoot , the SEC money alone guaranteeing 10+ wins from here on out , right ?

That kind of goes back to what I have said several times, and that is I believe Spurrier has given up on his entrance speech of, Why Not Us, when he was hired as coot coach. He had the coot fans in a frenzy with his Why Not Us speech!!!

Spurrier has always been brutally honest. Like him or not, the man is funny. He does not intend to be, but listening to him is entertaining.
