If turning your head is uncomfortable the problem for you runs far greater than where you must sit to watch a football game.
Honestly , sore necks ? I would expect that the excitement of watching Clemson dismantle Jawja in Athens on the Death Valley screen would be overwhelming enough to make one forget that you are facing one direction.

My answer to the sore neck crowd would be watch from the south stands in the first half , and ya know...the north dtands the second.
Hand mirrors are also recommended.

I think it's a great move by your AD. Many fans will tailgate, meet friends and socialize in the lots. Watch the game there. Sort of like a "practice run" for the home opener.

Sore or stiff necks doesn't concern me. Late afternoon and
early evening heat does. Now that I'm getting older can't
tolerate the heat like I use to.
