Has not watched us play football this season. I could not care less if we even beat the Coots. This season is a joke and major changes need to happen. First, we need Jeff Scott and Tony Elliott back. We need to evaluate the qb position much better in recruiting, and we need a kicker, and a punter. And some receivers. And an offensive line. Wes is the man. Keep doing what we are doing defensively.

Spot on. I don’t see another winnable game. There was no decline. The car went off a cliff with no bottom in sight.

That’s hilarious. Tech just beat Miami and UNC. We won’t win another. Bowl streak broken. The year consistency died, 2023.
Im used to it. I suffered through some terrible teams since 1978. I’ve never seen so much talent play so bad.

Off from following Clemson football and come back when you’ve regained your composure.
Jeff Scott was an elite recruiter before NIL; I’m curious to see how effective he is going to be in the current recruiting environment. Neither Elliot nor Scott are great offensive coordinators they just had great talent. I’d welcome Scott back as recruiting coordinator but not really interested in having Elliot back.

Wes is NOT the man. He took a top 5 defense and ended up 75th or worse in most stats last year. We started decent this year, but have regressed week after week. Busted coverages by the linebackers over and over. Arm tackling and lack of pass rush. PFF grade for the year isn’t good. Miami made our defense look like JV. NC St hasn’t moved the ball much on anyone. Wes was an analyst who had NEVER held a coaching position. We’re paying for elite coaches and getting garbage.
I can’t get behind Elliot coming back. He was abysmal. Scott was the success behind that duo. Do you NOT remember how stagnant the play calling for after Scott left?! Elliot has done such a great job at UVA. Yeah, let’s bring that back!
Every position coach is a joke. Nepotism on full display. How is Cole Stoudt over offensive player development?! He’s never been more than a GA previously! Thomas Austin had one year of o line coach experience at Ga St and was horrible. CJ Spiller had never been more than a GA. The list of no resume coaches is long and continuous on this staff. The on field product shows.

You can’t make those statements and not acknowledge the “success” Scott had at USF.

I think we can win out mainly due to the fact that the defense will keep us in games. On the other hand, we can absolutely lose every game on our schedule with how bad this offense is.
I stated this several weeks ago. This team is going to be in allot of 1 score games. If it finds ways to protect the ball, we possibly win those one score games. Looks like we are unable to win the close games and the awful offensive coaching down the line is on full display. That last drive was unacceptable.
