Anybody at the Duke/UCF game?

I watched some of the Birmingham Bowl game last night and it was really sad how few fans were in the stands. Like the old COVID days, almost. Stinks that so many teams have so few people coming to watch their final game.

I don't know how these bowl games make any money. Next to nobody goes, few people watch (like this one on during the middle of a work day for most people). What is there for revenue sources other than ticket sales and TV revenue?? Do they make that much off of sponsorships?

I think the schools have to agree to buy a certain number of tickets even if they are unsold.

My sources tell me that attendance revenue is minute compared to TV revenue and ad revenue. There would not be all these bowls if they weren't making money.
