(Dec. 5, 2023) – Northeast Florida’s Amelia Island is preparing to welcome avid football fans from Clemson for a feline frenzy in the 79th TaxSlayer Gator Bowl, scheduled for noon on Friday, Dec. 29, at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida. The Omni is super expensive during that week, but it a very nice property. We stayed there back in August and really enjoyed it. Two nice golf courses and a cool little par 3 if you like to play. Hotel is nice and service is great. Plenty of good food options at the resort.
I would love to stay there again, but I just cant justify paying 500 a night in December when the pool/beach is hit or miss weather wise.
