The Columbia Police Department has released its findings on the shooting on Holley St. No charges will be filed against the shooter. It was ruled as a justifiable homicide. The individual that was shot repeatedly kicked and tried to break into the front door and finally broke the glass on the front door and reached inside attempting to open the door. One shot was fired through the hole striking the individual in the upper body.

Well, sounds reasonable. Sadly, he was drunk and confused and I ended in tragedy.

But when you're on the other side of that door not knowing what the intentions are of the one trying to kick your door open, the door kicker doesn't leave the person inside of their home much of a choice but to stand your ground and protect yourself and your loved ones. The shooter done what I probably would have done, except maybe wait until the door was actually opened, I mean you don't want the wood or glass slowing that ball of lead down, do you!!!;)
