Going to have to be stopped for Clemson to beat them. Mason gonna have to be us throwing the ball and hopefully we win by him doing that. We're gonna have to play like we played in the Orange bowl.

I realize we have to play well but where are people getting all of this about Georgia, people talk them up like they had a god season last year but don't bring up the fact that Hutson mason and this same team we will be facing didn't even beat Nebraska. I think we're much more likely to beat georgia than people think and to be honest I think we have too much talent on both sides to lose to georgia but it seems I'm the only one who thinks this and doesn't think georgia is overrated.

At least he gained some experience as a starter.
If you watched that Nebraska game you can clearly see that Mason played well ... the rest of the team looked like they were playing flag football.
320 Yards, 1 TD, 1 Int. with a couple of key dropped passes.
I have been a Georgia fan and going to the games since 1971 ... Don't think I have ever been as frustrated with my Dawgs as that game. It's like after a season with loose wheels coming off the axle just broke on that day ...
Your D line will keep the offense honest. Mason will have to earn his and running will not be automatic. Looking forward to a good game. Just glad we are at home this year.

As a non-biased viewer who just enjoys watching college FB, the reason for the "wheels coming off the axle" is Hutson Mason. He was the single ingredient in the mix that did not fit well. He killed so many drives with his inability to execute, that UGA lost to a weak team IMO.
btw: I wanted UGA to win so I could win my bowl pool. Had to wait until FSU beat that other SEC team to bring home the gold. So you don't feel like the Lone Ranger, Bama almost cost me too. I gotta stop betting on SEC teams. They lose too often. They be soft.

Two teams with high expectations ... Two teams with Sr. first year starter QBs ... One with a killer D line ... One with a great LB Corp ... Lots of unknowns ... Lots of emotion ... and two really great and classy coaches.

the 99 yarder by Nebraska over.....was it Dawson (#6)? was just unbelievable.....99 yards.....really? Mauger had a play on the receiver but failed to wrap up.

Gameplans and keys to the game have been known for months…. For UGA, it’s run the ball w/ short passes & screens. And if they are successful and we adjust by bringing players up, we’ll be ripe to get burned w/ the play action. So yes, we’ll have to stop the run. For Clemson, it’s running a balanced offense and moving the chains. Score early and take the pressure of the defense. But if the HUNH stalls, and UGA is having some success controlling the clock, our stout D may grow weary. So it comes down to who can execute their gameplan better, which is where I get concerned because Mason has a much easier task to get his sea legs at home compared to what Cole has to do playing on the road.

Don't be surprised if both teams run the HUNH. Seems to be Mason's thing per insiders.
