I don’t understand why so many of y’all are hoping for teams like UNC and NC State to lose. Every time an ACC team loses it makes people respect the conference less and less, and thus makes it harder for us to make the playoff. They don’t believe we play a legit P5 schedule. Y’all should be hoping these teams win to give us SOME credibility

You don’t comprehend very well. He is saying it doesn’t matter who you pull for. It’s not going to change who wins the game. If you were pulling for nc state they would have still loss. And the OP is loss, because after this season it doesn’t matter what people think about the conference. If you win the ACC championship you are in the playoff automatically. Doesn’t matter your record or what anyone thinks about the ACC.

I am a Clemson Tiger fan, not an ACC fan. I couldn’t care less how other ACC teams perform. You play who is in front of you, there will be up and down years.
Outside of this year with FSU losing Travis, you just need to win and you’re in. Especially with a 12 team playoff moving forward

What happens when there is a 10-2 Clemson vs 9-3 LSU for a No. 12 playoff spot? I think we both know the answer. And it’s exactly why the ACC winning matters

You’re being dense. It’s not hard to understand. The perception of the ACC being a horrible P5 conference is bad news. It will affect our CFP seeding. It’s why FSU got left out. Nobody respected the ACC championship

We don't have to wonder . We just saw what happened when there is a decision between an undefeated ACC team and a 1 loss SEC team
If you think we or any other ACC team with 2 losses is making it into the playoff over a 3 loss SEC school you are delusional
The ACC will get it's conference champ in and be LUCKY to get another team in

Can prevent you from things like making the playoffs when you were at undefeated power five conference champion. Overall I would’ve preferred to see the ACC win more… Because our football reputation is garbage. However, I would never be able to pull for NC State and their trash fans… or UNC and their ACC elitist ########

Really? Tate Rodemaker is playing Saturday? Bc I'm pretty sure that is the true backup that would have been playing in the CFP.....but since they were screwed over and relegated to the orange bowl, he decided to transfer and Brock Glenn will start which is 3rd string

I mean yeah I guess the same is true with Clemson. Doesn’t matter if we want them to win. Point is it’s better for Clemson if ACC teams prove themselves against other P5 teams.
