Everyone is chasing DW4, Kiper you still have sour grapes

for being WRONG: " I had a second-round grade on Watson because he could be erratic at times -- he has four interceptions in five starts -- and I had him going to the Texans at pick No. 57 in my two-round mock draft in April (he ended up the 12th overall pick). He has the potential to be a superstar, and he's keeping the Texans in the AFC South race."

DW and Hunt have both been amazing. Hunt is defiantly not chasing DW as both have had record breaking years for rookies.

Hunt will be good for a few years and then drop off.
DW is franchise changing and will be good for 10+ years.
I think I’d take the QB

A great RB is not easy to find at all. He is the first player since Eric Dickerson to have 1000 yards on his first 7 games. Do not act like what Hunt is doing is anything short of amazing. I would take DW over him of I had a team too but Hunt has played just as well as DW. Both have been steller.

Are you saying Hunt is the first rookie to do it since Eric Dickerson?
Because David Johnson had 1,004 through the first 7 games last year.

He’s saying David Johnson wasn’t a rookie last season.

Yes, I know that. If you read my post I asked if CmoneyTiger was referring to the first rookie to do it.
If not, then it's happened a few more times since then.

Ah, my apologies for you not specifying what you were talking about.
Not many rookies get dropped into a feature back role with one of the better offensive lines in the league either.
DW4 has also broken rookie records as well, on a worse team no less.

The Texans are a dang good team. I have already stated both have broke records. You keep on down playing Hunt I just do not understand why. If he played for Clemson in college you would be praising what he has done.

I'm not downplaying Hunt, he's been phenomenal. DW4 is just better.
Also not saying that the Texans are a bad team, just that the Chiefs are better, as was proven on the field.

They may be better because they have Hunt. To say one is having a better year than the other is just a wrong doing IMO. I love DW and he has been great so far as we all knew he would be. That said Hunt has been every bit as impressive. We can agree that we love DW and love what he is doing and hope he keeps it up and takes the Texans to the SB.

I think we all know who the rookie of the year will be tho

Hunt is on pace to be around Zeke Elliot's numbers from last year except with less TD's. DW is on pace to absolutely destroy any rookie QB passing record that is out there ( including Dak who was the rookie of the year last year and including Peyton's rookie TD record 28 ). Yes, Hunt has had a great year so far but in comparison DW is having a year that might not equaled for a LONG time if ever again for a rookie.

Chiefs , Shmeefs . How's that QB Patrick Mahomes pick looking now ?
Could've gotten Watson AND Hunt in the same draft .

erratic? 14 Touchdowns and 4 picks in 131 passing attempts. He's throwing a touchdown every 9 attempts and a pick every 33 passing attempts. That's not erratic.
