I really think it will take 2 wins. If UNC upsets UVA and we face them in the semis, I could see the winner of that being the one that gets a bid and the other heading to the NIT.

1 win gets it done. We are first 4 out right now and I really don't bye that. We have beat all 3 of the teams we have played that are in the last 8 to get in. I think we could sneak in with an L Thursday but a W gets it done imo. We are 3rd in the acc. The committee will consider that imo.

You realize all the teams around us also have opportunities to win, right? There is a lot more to this puzzle than just a win/loss on Thursday.

A crappy NET rating is one thing, and that's computers and algorithms at work. We didn't even muster a single vote in the latest AP poll from actual people like the ones deciding our fate next Sunday.

We have to prove that we belong this week and climb some charts. 1-1 isn't proof - it's status quo. 0-1 might not even buy us two NIT home games.

I'm not trying to downplay anything or anyone here, it's just the harsh light of reality of where we and others are in terms of season resume heading into this week.
