You think the ratings or outcome from one game is going to change anything? The TV audience, national attention, and brand value is already well-established for both teams. We’re not entering some single elimination playoff or a conference invite. You are out of your mind.

If the plan is for 4 super conferences of 16 teams, I believe the SEC is already set. Listen to their commissioner and they are focused on growing the 16 teams they have. The Big going to say 20 teams doesn’t scare them. They don’t need to keep up with anybody.

FSU beating Clemson for once won’t make up for what Clemson has done the past decade plus. Not sure how that game would determine who the SEC invites. They may be a good this year, but are they a program built for consistency, or one big year every now and then depending on the portal?
