2014 Starting QB and depth chart

Let's go ahead and assume that DeShaun Watson doesn't leave us at the altar and he actually signs and participates in spring practice.
Do we have a 3-way competition for QB between Stoudt, Chad Kelly and Watson? Who gets the nod in Athens on Labor Day weekend.

RS Watson but have him suit up and travel like Kelly did his Fr year and have a 2 QB system with Cole and Kelly IMO.

realize how talented Kelly is? This is a great problem for us to have. Kelly is ### near perfect for this offense. There may be only a slight drop off in accuracy of passes but a tremendous upside to his mobility compared to Tajh.
You guys who were curious about Dantzler in this offense will get a taste of it with Kelly.

My guess is that Kelly gets the nod and Watson is RSed. Kelly has some wheels and I think he is a leader and fighter. I do like Stout's arm, but I think Kelly's wheels will win out.

One thing I like about Kelly, as you said, he is a gamer. He carries with him the same kind of confidence Winston had, and that is great to see.
It's unsettling seeing the disappointment in Tajh's face and Dabo having to walk over to the bench and give his starting QB a pep talk every time something goes wrong. Tajh NEEDS to step up and be a leader, I can assure you scouts are taking notice of this. If the team sees the uncertainty and frustration in the leader of their offense, how do you think that affects the rest of the teams mentality...

therefore he will redshirt he will have just one spring and one fall camp to get to know the offense for 2014 so a redshirt would be the best move. I think it will be a good QB battle in camp between stoudt and kelly, Stoudt is a better passer right now but Kelly is a better threat in the run game.

Game one will be a 2qb system of Stoudt & Kelly...by midpoint in season I think it's Kelly's team. Watson redshirts...

And it may be that Stoudt starts the first game against Georgia as he'll have earned it over a longer period of time and see how he goes. But, if Kelly keeps progressing the way has aside from injury, I could definitely see him taking over because he is a bit more mobile.
As for Watson, I think it should be just like Johnny Football and Jameis. A redshirt season watching and learning can only make him better so that in 2015 we have two of the best, most mobile QB's around. That will be one heck of a competition year I feel.
But, like was said above, Beat Maryland. Focus on the hear and now because the future is bright as long as the guys take care of business one week at a time.
