You are right because Kirby is laughing at Alabama, Clemson, Michigan, Florida and every other team except maybe Ohio State. Last year, Georgia had a roster that was full of 1st round Draft picks and this year they had a bunch of big, strong kids that will become 1st round picks. Sadly for everyone else, Georgia will probably be better this year.

Not to pick bones with you BloodbeOrange® but ValleyBoy is kind of right in my personal opinion. Kirby Dumb Dumb now has just as many rings as Dabo. Even Will Muschump, as a coordinator, has more rings (as coordinator) then anyone on our staff.
I know the moral and recruiting methods are different down in Athens, but we can still have the same fire and determination that they have shown the last two years. Heck, we probably could have snagged Stetson Bennet out of the portal from Jones County JUCO.

I guess then that Kirby is laughing because his recruiting is at a stratospheric level now. He seems to be a competent coach; his team’s talent advantage obscures any coaching brilliance that he possesses.
UGA is the flagship school in a big state and has only one marginally other P5 school (GA Tech) in that state.
TN and LSU are the only other programs east of the Pacific Ocean which enjoys a similar in state advantage. However the population and demographics in GA are far more favorable than that of either TN or LA.
The fact that UGA had spent 40 years as bridesmaids (or worse) speaks to how poorly UGA’s athletic program had been run.
UGA should win at least one National Championship each decade.
They will be favored to win another one in 2023.
