Welp.... got back from the Southern Christmas Show

in Charlotte...
For the record - I've been in multiple combat zones, lots of third world shidtholes, numerous natural disaster areas, and I would choose to go back to any of those locations as to EVER GOING TO THAT MF'N SOUTHERN CHRISTMAS SHOW IN CHARLOTTE EVER AGAIN!!!!!
Seriously - before the wife and I even stepped one MF'n foot in that sorry a$$ed scam of a shopping experience we had already forked over $20 in gas, $10 for parking, and $32 in admission tickets. For those not keeping track - that was $62 just to get inside the freaking door to this shopping BS.
Once there, the Wife commences to drag me through 3 buildings full of mouthbreathers, directionally confused old people, vast seas of fat women, and more snot nosed toddlers than I've ever seen in one place in my life. If we didn't catch COVID, the flu, or some other hacked up respiratory lung disease it will be a bleeding miracle.
We immersed ourselves in this sea of stupid just to spend hours walking thru never ending aisles of homemade Christmas ornaments, a billion small wood "crafts", booth upon booth of "sit around trinkets", and dentally challenged Vince Offer copy cats pimping "As seen on TV" type cheap Chinese garbage to mouthbreathing rednecks who were so entranced with the snake oil pitches they resembled cavemen staring at fire.
Not to be outdone by the high price of admission to the Southern Christmas Show - the food vendors serving lunch made sure to gouge the public as well. We got one microwaved BBQ sandwich, a small cup of baked beans, a slice of pizza, a small cup of sweet tea and bottle of water for the low low price of $30.
And what did the wife purchase after spending hours in that sea of stupid? Two small, but overly priced wood Christmas ornaments, one cheap bracelet, a pair of handcrafted earrings and a small bag of Dewey's sugar cookies.
Gentlemen - NEVER, EVER let your wife con you into going to this "event" in Charlotte...
Sample of the shopping experience:

Apt description for everyone from Ohio, Ontario, New York, and Pennsylvania that migrate here to the Grand Strand every winter.

If you get sick and die of buttaids or something your wife might have a tinge of guilt before she blows the insurance money on pool bois and blow.
Next time do your research.

one of those snot nosed mouth breathers running around terrorizing all the adults.
Do they still have the full size model houses? Turns out you get kicked out if you crawl under the ropes to play hide and seek with your cousins
Now I’m sure I’d feel exactly like you

I don't recall seeing any full size model houses...

I could've missed them because of all the earth pigs blocking the aisles with their brought from home 4 wheel wagons full of cheaply made, but overly priced, crafts made from such things as dirty glass bottles found in a road ditch and rusted scrap metal from the local dump.
I swear I may have PTSD from this shidt...

I often feel sad when reading posts from guys bragging about their exceptional kids and wives. Posts like this make me feel better about my life decisions.
While Tabby was in hell, I went on back to back dates…which were free. BOTH girls tried to be polite and offer to pay and I took both of them up on the offers because I don’t want to date either of them again. The look of regret when I said “sure, thanks” to each of them was priceless.
