WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden tested positive for COVID-19 again Saturday, slightly more than three days after he was cleared to exit coronavirus isolation , the White House said, in a rare case of “rebound” following treatment with an anti-viral drug.

Well _ something similarly happened to me in May this year.

Very mild case lasted about 6 days - tested positive about on day 3 and again two days later.
On about Day 7 or 8 tested negative after having no symptoms for two days _ rechecked two days later and was positive.
Talked with a few folks in the medical profession who said positive retests are not uncommon. (Without saying it, they indicated testing without symptoms after Covid can give whacky results. When they return to work after Covid, they avoid retests if not required.)

All tests were Home tests. Just my “anecdotal” case _ albeit some prominent posters seem to embrace anecdotal evidence much more than systematically evidence.

i think the key is snot

tiggity can back me up here on the science

the home tests need lots of snot to be accurate

if you are symptom free, not enough snot
