The dogs are claiming National Championships that aren’t real on their rings after 40 years!

It's ridiculous the number of schools that have gone back and claimed championships. A committee should get together and definitively determine who won what and when. Heck, the logic Alabama used to give themselves a couple of titles, would actually take a couple away if the same logic was used.

Actually it's more than a couple. Remember using eSECpn logic, winning the SEC Championship is a National Championship.

It's not all that simple. The criteria differs from one persons opinion to another, like do you distinguish co-championship seasons where two teams say go 13-1 but never played each other.

Technically they're only claiming the consensus championship that is unofficially recognized by the NCAA (National Champion Major Selections). They could actually claim three more if they wanted to be Alabama about it.
