The real QB battle is in 2015

I think all of us are hoping a superstar has arrived on campus in Watson. And, that is prolly true. I just don't think he is going to be ready this year. The best case scenario for the team is that he redshirts.
I think Dabo has a history of playing the more senior player at every position if all things look equal. Stoudt and Kelly each have their strengths, so I see Stoudt getting the nod with Kelly getting significant PT this year.
But the real battle will be in 2015 when its between Kelly and Watson. Just my opinion. What does Tnet think?

I think it's this year. Watson will have the job in 2015 in my opinion. This is Chad's shot this year. If he's the backup (to either Stoudt or Watson), I think he transfers. He's too talented to be a career backup.

defense we'll have,the offense will not have to carry us and score 35 or more points to win.Just "Steady as she goes" is all we need .

I think Kelly is starter before 4th game this year.

Kelly was ahead of Stoudt before his injury...no reason to think he wont move ahead again.

Both did redshirt but neither enrolled in January and Winston played baseball so he missed some spring football practice. WIth Watson enrolling early that is the wild card that may keep him from being redshirted.

Korn was injured in the Ga. Tech. game and his throwing motion was compromised. Parker was the better of the two during spring ball and fall camp

If Kelly does win the job this year it will definitely be a battle in 2015. I don't see him just giving up the starting job to Watson. Even though everyone seems to think Watson starts no matter what.

Stoudt starts the year off. Kelly plays a lot. Kelly starts in 2015 and then leaves for the league. Watson rs, plays mop up role in 15, starts in 2016-17 imo.

I'm not convinced that if Stoudt wins the job this year, that Kelly doesnt transfer out.
