XT down to 243. I think he was in the 260s a couple of years ago.
Woodaz up to 232 from 215. He could have a breakout year.

Woodaz going up almost 20 pounds was surprising. He might be a monster this year! Definitely have too many guys to block in our front 7.

Beasely played edge at 245, I think with that extra weight off it'll take some pressure of his injured foot and make him even faster. He'll explode this year with a healthy full season.

The extra weight for Makuba and Woodaz could be a big deal. Makuba was a tackling machine his freshman year. Might get to see some big safety hits this year.

Allegedly he had ballooned up to ~ 280 in late 2021 / early 2022.

I am encouraged that many of our OL are a little lighter than last year when there were times it looked like they were too heavy and slow. Lean and mean is better fat and happy.

I wonder if part of the new Garret Riley scheme included the OL dropping weight? Maybe they will be blocking downfield more than usual.
Any guesses from anyone on that?

You noticed that too.
Remember pre-season when true FR Dietrich Pennington (then at ~ 335 lb) was a strong possibility to start the 2021 season at RG?
He’s down to 338.
We look to have between the tackles very high quality + depth that we haven’t had since, well, forever.

I expect it will help their quickness off the ball, dexterity and agility, as well as their stamina. I just hope this OL can become dominant. Win in the trenches, and we win in the games with the skill we have .

I love Cade getting those saftey pounds! 10 should help him take hits!
Jarvis is way bigger than I thought he would be! My man wants to play!
I love Phil losing a few and Shipley gaining some.
What’s everyone’s thoughts on Randall? I like his weight but wonder if we could get him down some to get faster?

Flapjack Owens back down to 376. He said in an earlier interview that he showed up at 412 originally. Hope he gets some playing time because he gives a great interview.

A bit of a disappointment that his weight stayed the same between spring and now. Almost certain to RS, given our terrific depth + first string quality at both Guard positions.

I feel like S. Lawson would have been a 4-star had he had the weight coming out of H.S. and had he played in say Florida or Georgia.
His brother has done it.
He has done big things at the H.S. level in his own right for a good H.S. program.
I think people will be somehow surprised that this Lawson is just as good. He just needed to add weight to his game. Because; the kid can get to the QB that's for certain, which is what you need.

Lots to comment on, but the WR position stood out to me. Randall is down and Williams is up. Randall likely leaned after the injury recovery which makes me hopefully for separation as well as lateral speed. Williams in the slot adding some weight reminds me a bit of a fellow not gone from Clemson very long.
DL put on some mean weight too.

All the freshmen seemed to do what’s needed. Those Freshmen safeties all seemed to gain 10 lbs. Love to see it! Excited for the season.
