I’m so happy he chose us over Alabama and Auburn as a Alabama native 5 Star. Besides Jamis Winston I don’t know of another that chose to play out of state. This was amazing recruiting by all of Clemson Nation!!
We not only have the best WR in the nation but we took a weapon from Alabama or Auburn that could have been a horrible matchup problem for us in a championship game.
WRU pays off but having Trevor and talent everywhere else plus Dabo had to all play roles in making us better. It seems Dabo and company are taking steps up for our program each an every year.

I really think this is the most talented team we have ever had.
It remains to be seen if that talent at key positions develops quickly enough to win a national championship before we drop down a step on our DL.
But I know Dabo and Co are continuously reloading this roster with high quality players and young men.
It's a great time to be a Tiger.

I do not know if we will see a step down on DL... XT, KJ, NylesP and XK and whoever else is there might be the best we have ever had...

The Clemson Culture is Contagious

So many fine young athletes come into the program and leave as fine young men. The coaching staff has an eye for those that will and those that won't (cough Belk, cough).

It’s because he is a really good route runner, like nuk is. What surprises me is not all the talent he has but that route running and ability to get open is unusual as a freshman

And he attacks the football like Nuk and Sammy. No one is going to take the ball away from them. That was what Cain was lacking.

Great young player with a tremendous future .
Taking a look down the road ... here come Frank Ladson and Joe Ngata .
It's tough not to have second thoughts if you're a DB committed or committing to a school that will be playing against Clemson , I'd imagine .

I really wish they would put him and Tee on the field together more. They have trouble guarding one of them so both on the field at the same time will give coordinators and DBs nightmares!!!!!

That means really a lot hearing that from Justin bc during the recruiting, there was a lot of the smart talker that never have a lot of praises for Clemson, they were saying that Justin wouldn't end up in Clemson, that he would stay in state and sign with Bama or Auburn. Little did they know at the time, they just wasn't as smart as they thought they were, OR, they simply overlooked the powers of HC Dabo Swinney when he sets the hook in the ones he feels he has have. Dabo's ability to snag top recruits out of about any state has done as much for Clemson as anything else he has done!!!
Clemson and Clemson Nation were blessed the second that Terry Don decided to take a chance on Dabo as our new inexperienced HC. I think that goes to show that Terry Don's success at naming Head FB Coaches comes with him observing and listening when people didn't know that he was. And with TB suggesting Dabo as the interim HC, at the end only helped in reassuring Terry Don that Dabo was the right choice to be the new HC at Clemson!!! I say that bc I don't believe that Terry Don would have named Dabo as Clemson's HC if he hadn't already seen and believed that Dabo was capable of being a lot more than a position coach. Terry Don, he knew that he was close to hanging it up himself, and nobody wants a total fk up left hanging at the end of their career.
I think that before Terry Don would have knowingly made that big of a screw up, he would have spent the athletic departments money and hired someone whom he believe could be successful at Clemson. And he actually did do that by hiring Dabo as our HC.
Thank You Terry Don, your leadership set the course for this wild ride that Tiger Nation has been on and fully enjoyed these last 10 years to the top... Nothing in college sports feels better than being one of the Elite teams week in, and week out in college Football where #4 Clemson is today!!! I'm also sure that the ones in Tiger Nation that once believed that you had lost all your senses by hiring Dabo as our HC, they thank you also for Dabo!!!
