This Is What 1.9 Trillion Dollars Looks Like

|
$1,900,000,000,000.00
Now, if we gave every one of the 350,000,000 people in the United States an equal amount from that $1.9 trillion, each one of us would get about $5,428. If we invited all of the 129,000,000 people in Mexico to come to he United States, we could hand each one of them a check for $14,728. as soon as they crossed the border. But, being a generous nation with money to burn, we could give each one of the 8,000,000,000 people that inhabit the earth the grand sum of $237.00 plus a little change.
And they have the nerve to tell me I will not be getting one red cent.

The World thanks you for your generous contribution of your tax dollars. Don't worry if you are unable to read the thank you notes, most of the recipients don't speak English.

A veteran who fought, risked his life to defend our country in several wars, gets nothing. A person who has NEVER worked a day in their lives and does not pay one penny of taxes gets $1400. How is this justice?

Joe,
I rarely post on here, but I wanted to thank you for your post. US citizens should be outraged at the pork included in that bill. The media refuses to report details such as this.

Yes, the deal is not the $1400, but the pork that will go to buy future votes and along the way drive up inflation.

Just Want What Any Government Take From Me ---

If you don't get taxed....then you get nothing.
If you're already ending up with close to a million or a lot more AFTER taxes are taken.... you're fine ....you won't miss it.
Those who are trying to get to that point where they are not going to miss it....that are continuously taxed on the daily.....pay them their money please!!!
Now if we can just get rid of all the nickel and dime ..petty miscellaneous fees.. for everthing you do tactics...we could really boom this economy more theu think.

Wrong on the "if you don't get taxed, you get nothing".
If you file a tax return with such a small income that one would not owe taxes or if you file with so little income and dependents that you receive a "child tax credit" or "earned income", you DO also receive the $1400 ++ based on the number of dependents, with the largest families receiving more than $10,000.

There are people out there who don't even know they're being robbed by these corrupt politicians as they're trying to line up their next group of voters.
There are people out there who are just happy to get the $1400 that they're not even doing the simple math and that they're just getting back a much smaller fraction of their own money.

Precisely why I cannot stand W, Obama, Trump Dems and GOP

Our government is so corrupt and broken we are in deep, deep trouble. No confidence from millions of Americans at this point. Too many self interested, career politicians buying power with the lives of taxpayers and the future of generations to come.
The Senate should not be elected, but appointed by the state legislatures as the founding fathers so wisely designed.
The House should be expanded to 1 member per 50,000 which would be ~700 representatives.
Both Senate and House should only be allowed to spend 3 months a year in DC and in a Federal dorm only. Rest of the time, they must be resident in their districts and working and voting virtually.
We must have term limits just like the Presidency and a constitutional constraint on Federal spending as a % of GDP. Strict debt limits too.
And we must have a constitutional amendment to prohibit the federal government passing laws providing any welfare, healthcare or stimulus payments to any one ever. Leave this to each state’s responsibility only. NO MORE FEDERAL MANDATES. get back to being a Republic that has true federated powers.
If we cannot make these fundamental changes in how our government works, then we as a country will undergo a very not fun revolution. Been trying to warn about this for over 30 years, but until last 10-15 years, I always thought my dire predictions were a long shot to happen. Now I think it is a safe bet we will undergo that not very fun revolution. ??

They spend tons of other peoples $$$ to get those jobs, and they wouldn't work at those jobs for the posted salaries for those jobs, it's all of the I'll scratch your back, if you massage mine with the cash$$$ is the only reason they lie, beg, borrow, fight, and steal for those public service jobs that they wouldn't have if it was for just the posted salaries those jobs pay. Public service politicians get rich by granting favors to the rich as a public servant.
If it wasn't for the rich, and their paid lobbyist making politicians rich for a yes vote that helps them to screw over middle Americans. There would have been term limits on those public servant jobs many years ago, but bc of all the cash they make by selling out the people that voted them into a public service office, and they turn a blind eye, and a deaf ear to shun any legislation to make those public servant jobs to have term limits bc, the longer they hold onto their public service jobs, the better they get at selling out their voter for cash payments from the rich to supplement their public office income. Public servants are a joke, and it's the poor, and middle class that are getting laughed at, and getting poorer each year bc of the greed of our crooked A$$ public servant/politicians!!!

Funny thing is the vast majority of americans DO have confidence in their government. And yes there is certainly a minority that do not. Which is roughly a similar percentage throughout time. As someone said today, America is one of the few countries where a large percentage of people believe their government shouldn't make their lives better.
And if you want to go back to the founding fathers vision, i guess that means only white land owning men voting as well? Or are we picking and choosing what we want to take from them?
Finally lets remember this is the government which
gives you 3.5% interest rates for your mortgage tax breaks for your business "expenses" free use of tens of thousands of miles of paved roadways insurance on your bank accounts a military which lets you sleep soundly at night etc
Do you want to remove all of that too?

Ineptocracy (in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.
In summary, the "Takers" now outnumber the "Givers" and demand that the "Givers" give even more.....

When stuff like this happens, I think maybe this will wake everyone up to realize that our government doesn’t care about us. No matter who is in charge, D’s or R’s they despise America and it’s citizens. Then I realize the majority of Americans are just too stupid to understand. The great experiment ended about 50 years ago and is beyond recovery.

The $1.9 trillion “stimulus” package that Biden signed off on. Most middle class people are ineligible, but people who haven’t worked in quite some time, and pay very little if any taxes; will receive it.
My wife and I both work, have an almost 3 year old; but won’t see a cent of the 1.9trillion of the taxes he just spent.

So making 75k a year single is way more than middle class income? That is the cutoff for when it starts to dissipate rapidly.
Wife and I are just above the 150k cutoff. We live in Jersey City and aren't sitting cushy... Up here you can't even buy a house with more than one bathroom for less than 450k. PERIOD.
So #### before you make stupid comments.

Thanks again Joe for your service, and your blood, sweat and tears dedicated to this great but slowly diminishing nation.
My take is a handful of cryptocurrencies are better short-term and long-term currencies than the diminishing U.S. dollar. Sad but true. These tax and spend politicians on both sides of the aisle have done a number on this country with the national budget last balanced with Clinton and Gingrich working together (e.g. The era of big government is over.) The world is shifting on its axis. Atlas Shrugged.

Thank you Joe for helping to put this "Pay Off" into perspective!! It is disgusting! I can't believe people act as if this is "free" and have no concerns! I heard someone on the radio say to pay off the National Debt every Man, Woman, & Child would have to pay approximately $70,000.00 each!

The 6 to 7 trillion allocated by Republican and Democrat Congress and White Houses this past 12 months is way above any amount of taxes collected by the Feds in a given year. This has been flat out deficit spending by authorizing the Treasury to print money. It’s immoral to do that to future generations and probably hurts us folks in the nearer term in the form of uncontrollable inflation.
The worst part is that they didn’t even try to explain how all this latest stimulus fixes the crisis. The economy if allowed to reopen could do the task of getting people back to work safely without this new deficit spending.

Ole Joe Biden has a pretty sweet gig going. Never has a Press Conference so he doesn’t have to explain his ineptness, media runs cover for him , a Press Secretary who continuously “circles back around “ to never answer a question.
Meanwhile , thousands of dollars go to Jose who brought his 4 kids over to steal your tax dollars, Shaniqua who has 4 kids by 3 baby daddy’s gets $5600, and Rufus who can’t hold a job due to he just doesn’t like working gets $1400.
Isn’t Socialism GREAT!

I don’t know what is blocking Joe’s situation. Possibly being claimed as a dependent on his kid’s tax return (which means they’d receive an extra check)

Head of Household gets a higher cutoff income 120k vs 80k but no extra check. Doubt if Joe qualifies as a dependent. He was probably smart and saved too much money!

This 1.9 trillion looks exactly like the 1.9 trillion from the former administration's stimulus. And it looks exactly like the 1.9 trillion tax cut from the former administration. We couldn't afford those either but most on here didn't complain. It puzzles me.
