The only thing I have to say about Uvalde and a blanket statement for all violent crimes.
Jun 7, 2022, 5:57 PM
|
|
Is when are we going to stop demonizing police ( some do deserve it), blaming race ( it was an individual that committed a crime not a race), or gun control laws (because law or no law criminals do not care) and start victimizing criminals as they should be?
I for one am sick of everyone pointing fingers at everything else except the people responsible for these heinous acts. It’s not just Uvalde, its everywhere! I can’t count how many times I have read where someone commits a violent crime, pleas innocent, and calls themselves victims and then gets away free only to commit another violent crime later on.
You can literally find violent criminals who have committed violent crimes on numerous occasions and still walk the streets as if nothing happened. If you don’t believe me you can find all of it in public records.
I’ll let you in on a little secret, drinking and driving offenders are just as bad as violent criminals. There’s absolutely no reason that a multi time DUI offender should ever be issued a drivers license again.
Do we blame a car for getting toasted and killing multiple innocent people in a drunk driver case ? No! You fools a car is an inanimate object! Everyone knows that all you have to do to settle a DUI ( a traffic stop) is to pay an attorney a Hanson amount to get out of jail free. Which by the way they love to see a DUI client walk into the firm so why would they want DUI to end?
My point is stop feeling sorry and making excuses for individuals who are committing crimes! You can blame mental health, you can blame society, you can blame the guns/ gun laws, you can blame race all you want to but it is absolutely a cowards way of standing up to the people who are guilty by not addressing the real root cause.

Are you freaking kidding me? Your mentality is exactly what is wrong with the whole picture! If we didn’t have criminals there wouldn’t be a need for guns except hint for food. Heck, you can do that with a bow! Ill entertain you and I’ll give you a better option! I say let’s do it right and if you get 2 violent crime offenses, your third offense will get you dropped off on a island far away with nothing but a jar of tomato seeds. The British did it a long time ago and exiled criminals to Australia.

Not if you make them illegal.
Jun 7, 2022, 8:49 PM
|
|
Step 1: Mandatory registry. Step 2: Make them illegal. Step 3: Buyback program to avoid takings clause issues. Step 4: Final "immunity" period to turn in firearms before consequences. Step 5: Begin passive enforcement. If caught with one, punishment. Step 6: In-home confiscations w/ serious punishment. Permanent: Caught after Step 6, mandatory life sentence.
I guarantee by Step 5 America will be almost gun free.

Step 1: make them illegal Step 2: Disarm law abiding, family protecting citizens. Step 3: rely on police ( that you don’t trust and are 40 minutes late for a massacre) Step 4: rely on a government to strip criminals of their weapons after several failed attempts. Step 5: repeat history by following in the footsteps of every other dictator ran country in the world. Look at how many countries disarmed countries their were in the country and how many was executed by their own government. Want to take a guess ? How many other countries are there that share the same freedoms we do. It’s getting slimmer and slimmer my man! Step 6:

Apparently all of them are racists and crooked right? You can’t demonize them one minute and have faith them at the same time do you? I believe if I’m at my home or in my vehicle I believe I could protect my family and myself quicker than a police officer could. You forget. It’s not all about you. Don’t you think those parents wouldn’t have ran into a school with a firearm to protect there own given the chance?
I don’t know about you but take a look around you. We don’t live in Mayberry where criminals rob people at fist point. You stay in your little box thinking nothing can ever happen. I’d rather know I went down doing what I could to protect the lives of others.

Maybe so! Maybe they should be severely investigated for neglecting the situation and find out what their motive for not acting was. Was it staffing issues because of City funding or just plain neglect? One thing is for sure, we could learn from this by implementing active armed guards at schools. It’s okay for banks to protect your money with armed guards right? Why is your money more important than your children? Heck, at least set a couple of de commissioned military/ police vehicles. That could likely give these evil individuals second thoughts.

here is your confiscation idea, #4
1. Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes. 2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax. 3. Abolition of all rights of inheritance. 4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels. 5. Centralisation of credit in the hands of the state, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly. 6. Centralisation of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the State. 7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State; the bringing into cultivation of waste-lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan. 8. Equal liability of all to work. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture. 9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of all the distinction between town and country by a more equable distribution of the populace over the country. 10. Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children’s factory labour in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production,
