I actually had this same thought but never posted it when I heard the news. I saw a talking head this morning mention the idea of Dabo reaching out to Scott Frost and bringing him on as an offensive analyst, consultant, or maybe even on staff. His point was Frost does have a good offensive skill set and ran a pretty good offense at Oregon. Money is not an issue so he doesn't need a big position, with the buyout he has coming to him, and he is good at developing a young QB (did it with Marcus Mariotta at Oregon).
The guy also made the point that for Frost, it could be a win-win because he could learn a lot from Dabo about putting together a great culture and get mentored by one of the best.
Probably not likely but I don't hate the idea.

But I don't think Frost is a Clemson alum. That's the first requirement to be a coach at Clemson.

He earned his master’s degree in 2020.
Hilarious that it was only then that he was promoted from staff member to coach!
It sure seems that one has to be a Clemson alum these days for Dabo to hire them as a coach.
All recent football coaching hires are Clemson alums:
Grisham, Spiller, Eason, Richardson, Austin.

Interesting points Judge...
Brad Brownell also has had some very good assistants who have worked under him at Clemson.
We know about Coach Dean being hired at Geargia as the Associate HS and top assistant at Georgia. Just like he did at Clemson doing a great job there early in recruiting.
Do you also remember Richey Riley now the HC at South Alabama was an assistant under Brad as well?
And how about Earl Grant who was his top assistant here at Clemson who was also the top assistant under Gregg Marshall at Wichita State. He grew up a huge Clemson fan from Georgia and after becoming as assistant coach continued to follow Clemson tremendously. He was the one who discovered KJ McDaniels for Coach Brownell.
Coach Grant did a great job at College of Charleston, and doing a very early good job at power5 and fellow ACC school Boston College that was a lot worse shape then Clemson when he took over there before last season. Coach Grant has 4 starters back from a team that went on a roll in the ACCT last season and has a top 20 recruiting class coming to BC this season. What do you think of Coach Grant and these other guys?

Its a good idea but probably wouldn't help much until 2023. I'm not sure Dabo is as convinced that the offense needs a rebuild as some of the rest of us.

True, it could only work as some kind of hired consultant or advisor. Maybe he could sign up for a couple of classes and be a grad assistant
