Also hate to say it but the SEC is a strong conference in baseball.
It’ll be interesting to see how the rest of the season unfolds for them.

While I haven't dug into their roster and have no clue on transfers, they've had big 20+ recruiting classes the last 4 years that resulted in top 4-9 class rank. I would make the assumption that enough made it to campus and have developed. It's still baseball in a tough conference so to only lose one game is quite the accomplishment. And they've been just hammering teams too.

We've had top 20 classes pre draft but post draft said classes dropped to the 30's.

They are 3-1 against teams that are currently ranked.

In a word... legit. Only loss was to Texas in a tournament early in the season. Their coach came from Arkansas, and has slowly built a monster. They will be a consistent top 10 team in the coming years. They have a closer that throws 104.. check him out on YouTube.

We could possibly have that if we brought in 65 guys for 35 spots. Just not how we have ever done things at Clemson.

And the ACC May actually be a deeper conference this year than the sec. But nobody is on UT’s level right now. However the coots did take a series from Vandy.
