why is everyone so convinced he will be starter next year? He might be, and I’m not saying he won’t be. I’m saying I’m just not there yet. Maybe he needs to hit the portal. Maybe he needs a change just as badly as we need a change. Come back and say “I told you so” next season but don’t put that on me yet.
Note: this is not a defense of DJ so don’t go there. He stunk yesterday.

I don’t think Dabo will run him off. DJ May wake up one day and say “Self, things haven’t been going great here. Maybe I need a fresh start.”

Beautiful day in the foothills. Glad all Thanksgiving leftovers are gone or thrown out. I can find beer in the fridge! Considering going to watch CBB’s Round ball Tigers play Penn State on Tuesday. Red Zone on Sunday is alright.

I bet he’s a terrific leader.
He does not play quarterback very well for Clemson.

I can't tell you who will be starting next season, but I can guarantee that whoever it is, both DJ and Cade will not remain on this team together. So we better decide soon which one we want to hitch our wagon to next year.

DJ needs to be moved to TE. He played QB because in high school he was the biggest guy on the team and had the best arm. He has no touch; the reason Streeter can't call pass plays over the middle is DJ doesn't have the touch to make the throw over the LB dropping into coverage. I've never seen a college QB drop back in the pocket and just plant his feet and not move like DJ does. No one can pass accurately with your feet not moving.
