Anyone think Venables stuff is smoke and mirrors. Si reports Dan Lansing head coach pulls it immediately. If Dan Lansing did take the position would reak havoc on an already vulnerable defense would create enough distraction to know the championship will be a non-event. ESPN protecting the brand through every means possible.

Not sure if true, but an Oklahoma poster said the Oklahoma board had prewritten articles ready for all coaching candidates and accidentally posted that one. Seems feasible to me.
