That would be awesome. D only allows the occasional field goal, but absolutely NO Touchdowns are scored against the Tigers this year. Wonder if this has ever been done.

And also, it kinda works out. Since our "O" is looking really pitiful, and really, no one can say the Offense coaching has been brilliant...

All our O has to do is avg maybe 14 points a game, and we are good !

This will prove the old adage, Defense Wins Championships.

Uh, I really don't think 14 points per game by the offense is going to get us far. 22 points per thus far have made us look awful. BTW, the 'Bammer D gave up 6 tds in 1979. Ole Miss gave up 3 in 1959. Maryland gave up 2 in 1953. I'm sure there are many other examples. But this sort of stuff is nonexistent now. If the Tigers don't score 30 a game, we will lose at least one more.

Surely with our D there is no need for that. And really, with this group, at this point in time, it looks unrealistic. I think this year its the year of the D. In football, defense is more fun to play anyway. And i think the D is having a good time.

Even great defenses have bad games. Remember against Usuck in '18? We gave up 35. Won it because we scored 56. Even 'Bammer gave up 29 forty eight hours ago. I'm sure I don't have to recite an entire laundry list of outstanding defenses having off days and being bailed out by their offenses. Is this Tiger O good enough to do this?
