Let’s say a kid gets a million in NIL from a school booster and is a mid-year enrollee. What’s stopping him from deciding on April 30th he wants to go to A&M and get NIL there as well? Can he transfer before ever playing? And does he get NIL from both places? I assume NIL money can’t be reneged on for transferring because it isn’t supposed to be school specific.

NIL isn't linked to the school but I'm sure their is language to protect the company.

For example they could include a stipulation on a 3 year deal that a player must live in a specific area or remain enrolled in the university.

On that note it will be interesting to see the first lawsuit filed against a player for NIL money. Also the first time the IRS comes knocking for unpaid taxes.

Have something new to get arrested for. This will be hilarious.

I do feel like we’ve opened a can of worms that is terrible for players, coaches, and schools. It’s only good for the lawyers. Typical. Peak 2022.
