He won’t be a good pro. Never really saw anything special from him. Doubt he makes it 2 years in nfl

You know what gets me: people will argue that if he was your kid or if it was you that you would do the same thing!

I disagree 100%.

People are still blown away in 2022(soon) about opt outs. It didn't happen just a few years ago. Oh how did all those players who came before this new group ever survive it?

Bowl games that were not for a NC have helped draft stock as much as anything! If a player is a known commodity and they play average b/c the offense/defense was geared to them - scouts know! But, playing football is the only way to become a better football player is it not?
Aren't you in fact, getting ready for the NFL as you train with your team for the bowl game? How about just don't play your "full last year of eligibility because you are afraid of getting hurt"? Why wait for the bowl game? I don't get that part. Just don't play - heck - don't play college ball at all if you think you are going to get hurt and take 3 years to prepare for the league.

You need the video of you playing you say: "ah haaaaa"! Um, "ah haaaaaa"!

Yep and I’d go further by saying this game is a heckuva lot more important than the 11/27 game versus Syracuse. The Coastal was already wrapped up prior to that game. For crying out loud this is the best Pitt season since Marino!

Maybe I should give him the benefit of the doubt. A game loses its luster when Mark Jones and RG3 is calling it.

Good NFL GMs will notice the opt-out and consider it a character flaw that will impact his draft stock. Bad ones will pick him anyway. That should ensure he ends up somewhere terrible.

His choice to opt-out will have zero effect on his draft stock. McCaffrey was the 1st major opt-out to publicly announce such a decision and it didn’t effect his draft stock. Now, the fact that McCaffrey is an unbelievable talent, but has only managed one truly statistically successful year in 2019 as part of a truly dismal Panthers team isn’t displeasing. Perhaps Pickett will have a similar fate. All the panthers ever did for me is prevent me from seeing the NFL games that I really wanted to watch. Cam’s a clown, and McCaffrey’s a coward.

Malik Willis and Sam Howell are both potential first round QBs who decided to play in their bowl games. I hope they both get drafted before him.
