Really, so far, we haven't needed much flavor. This game may be different, but we will see. I will bet we do better as time goes on. We aren't playing a terrible nor a second class team.

Petrino maybe isn't a very good Harley rider, but he is a good coach and play caller. And with this being our biggest game so far, our OC's maybe driving the offense a little to easy and to vanilla. I agree with most at this point, it's time to hit the gas, or the Birds will get to confident and hit the gas on us....

I, too, think we have too much vanilla for too long. Glad to get out of there with a win. Looked like we wouldn't take hold of opportunities when presented, and it looked like they got several calls, especially at the end, that helped their cause. How does an official, even a poor official, not call the face mask grab on the next to the last offensive play? I really don't need an answer. It is embarrassing that there are officials that sorry drawing a check for "officiating" college FB games. I hope they enjoy their extra cash.

Maybe Elliot is worried about the line so just wants to go for our simpler, quick-to-execute plays instead of longer developing plays such as those with multiple WR sets and long progressive reads.

But mostly, SOS don't have anything close to a good team with only a hand full of descent players. Good players just don't like spending 3-4 years playing their home games at a pallet yard. I bet they could some good players if all their games were away game so that their parents wouldn't have to come to the pallet yard....
