so is this a trick answer. how many of those 22 are sophomores. i imagine our freshmen will be much stronger and better next year. i am guessing the tarholes did not start 6 freshman in any game this year

UNC Freshman
Bolt started 45 games.
Lassister started at 2nd for 60 of the 62 games.
Hovis pitched in 24 games
Trent Thornton was 9-1 with 8 saves and a 1.23 ERA
4 players including their best pitcher and 2 of the field players starters are freshman

deroberts, I know you have taken the pro-jack stance but you need to listen to these guys. I have to tell you that I am on the fence myself. I am listening though. Knee-jerk reactions are silly but momentum is building and Jack's been here a long time. I am not saying that there needs to be a change but it needs to be looked at - like it always should be.

It was looked at last year when he hired lecroy. Even though we went to Omaha in 2010 our recruiting had gone a little stale and a stud recruiter was just what the doctor ordered.

Come on bro. They got 158 RBI's out of Moran and Stubbs (Sr. and Junior). Holbertson (Jr) added 52 more. Now they got a lot of production out of Lassiter and Bolt (FR), but the same could be said for us with guys like Duggar and Krieger. It is much easier for younger guys to put up big numbers when you have guys like Moran and Stubbs in your lineup.
Then their weekend rotation. Johnson, Emanuel, Moss. (Sr,Jr,SO). Ours was Gossett, Crownover, Erwin. (So.,FR,FR).
Yeah they have a lot of Freshmen and Sophomores but come on everyone knows where the production was in that club.
We lose Brittle in the field. THATS IT! No one from the weekend rotation. If you cant see that were a year or 2 out idk what your looking at.

Everyone knows Jack only recruits well once every 4 years. The question is, are our peers in the same 4 year cycle? Is UNC on their way down?
