“Cycling” back, I was 70-30 sure we’d beat Coots at WB..

Dec 13, 2021, 1:52 PM

but they had shown some signs of life by beating QB-less Auburn & UFL and by significant scores..

and their crowd was gonna be in it 110% and our O had been underperforming until the WF game at home..

so I was apprehensive a bit in comparison to their Fans being jacked.

Welp, 0-30 score was way beyond my dreams but our D was championship caliber again and O got unreal 300+ rushing yards from 3 RB & QB..which proved TE can adjust to our O strengths, and did.

Go TiGERS..you ROCKED and now you have a 30 game rivalry overall win advantage over the Coots!

The line had not underperformed because they only played together a few games because of injuries but I admit I thought the game would be closer. The chickens have a long way to go.

It never once even remotely occurred to me...

that uof7c had any realistic chance of winning that game.

Their defense was absolutely horrible against the run and the Clemson defense would be the best their pitiful offense faced all season.

I wasn't expecting a thirty to snap shutout, but there was never a doubt in my mind that Clemson would win and win by double digits.

Bill you should have given Clemson football players a 90 percent winning margin over the Gamecocks. The South Carolina gamecocks haven't beaten a really good team this year and they haven't faced a defense any better than Clemson. Also, I didn't expect to beat them 30-0 but I am so glad we didn't have to sweat the outcome as we did for many of the earlier games. I believe this is the reason you said 70 percent but after seeing the team respond in the Wake Forest game, I believed they could blow the gamecocks out of the water even in a packed stadium in Columbia. Go Tigers and win your 10th game later this month in Orlando!

uof7c players ain't got no heart !!!!

You punch them in the mouth and they get frustrated and fold like a cheap lawn chair.

The game was over before the half and their fans knew it as evidenced by how many of them didn't bother returning for the second half.

South Carolina has only scored a combined 3 points against Clemson in the last 2 games while being outscored a combined 68-3. To make things worse, both games were played in WB.
