Is it my imagination or has Tennessee changed their orange to a deeper orange…more like ours?

I attended high school in East Tennessee, but went to Clemson, so I’m somewhat of a subject matter expert in orange.
Wasn’t it always a much lighter orange, like an orange shirt that had been bleached too many times in the washer and left your wife’s white underwear with a even paler orange tone?

Years ago Clemson played them in the GA dome in the Peach bowl. There uniforms looked yellow.

Yes.
Compare the graphic at the bottom of the screen to their uni’s tonight.
I think the only logical conclusion is that they’re trying to slowly morph into us.

I think it has to do with the 8 bazillion candle power LED lighting they are using at the roach. They have to adjust the camera filters to deal with it.

I’m glad it’s not just me.
What I remember was not that stupid “burnt orange” from Texas, but a “putrid orange” like you get from puking your guts out from ‘shine after a binger on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

That 'light' shade of orange is called mountain orange. they are still using that light orange.
