I'm glad that UGA fans and players get to see Charlotte...

Georgia is a very rural state and the town of Athens is more like a cross roads than an actual city. It will be a great experience for these folks to get to witness the culture in North and South Carolina. I know we all have a tendency to complain about things going on in our daily lives, but sometimes we have to sit back and enjoy the things we take for granted everyday because not everyone is so lucky, even those living just a state away.

Georgia also leads the nation in chicken farms and has quite a number of pig farms. The fresh air of the Carolina Piedmont will do them good.

Most of them will probably still be lost when it's half time!!! That would be easy to do in Charlotte, when you live somewhere that has about 6 or 8 red lights, and they are blinking orange after 10 pm!!!

On the other hand it could be culture shock for them and they may get traumatized. Its kind like an Afghan refugee getting relocated to NYC.

I am really nervous for the poor charlotte drivers sometime near the 3rd quarter.
I know those Charlotte folks LOVE to drive four-wide and 5 under the speed limit. I know those Jawja supporters are always trying to drive 88 mph so they can go back in time. Marty McFly clearly went back from 85 to 55 ... or 40 years so Jawja folks might need to drive faster to get back to 1980

Is Atlanta big? I thought it was kind of smallish and in Tennessee.

My recent Clemson grad has enrolled at UGa in their veterinarian college . She and her also Clemson grad BF just moved into Athens a few weeks back . He'll be starting in their Law School next year . I am so torn to be happy or to be mortified that my oldest girl could become torn herself , as loyalty is confusing when you're young .
Anyway , this was a sort of himble-brag and also I forgot to agree that yes Athens is kind of rural nowhere much like the rest of Jawja
