years old. My blood pressure is 114 over 68.....tonight, watching the game, I would bet my house it never got over 114 over 68.

I had to step away from watching basketball for a few years because it made me so mad. I could see nothing changing so I would just catch the final score.
After all the chatter on TNet good and bad I thought I would try to catch some games this year. Pretty sure I would end up like Spud.

Spud, I think we can all agree that was bad basketball on both sides Having said that, we keep being the worst basketball played.

not that important, and have effectively let it die on the vine. I am really, really hoping Neff can change that, because Clemson basketball used to be fun and exciting, and the fan base always had hope that we could land a few good players, and improve and be more competitive, maybe even one day compete for the championship on a semi-regular basis. Over the past 10-15 years, it became clear that there was no such intention whatsoever, and that any such hope was foolish. We gave up, and serious interest and the fun faded.

I agree. I stopped watching a long time ago. I played in high school and was on a pretty good intramural team at Clemson. Used to love Clemson basketball. Brownell has ruined it. Find a coach and I'll give it another try. Can't watch this.

It’s definitely frustrating Spud, My wife won’t watch basketball with me because I talk to the TV because we don’t do the basic fundamentals of good basketball on offense and defense.
Brad doesn’t mix up the plays he runs nor does he keep going to the “well” when something is working you make them stop it and then switch to the opposite play until they cover it. For some reason we never run double and triple screens to get open spot shots that would up our shooting percentage. The guys don’t communicate with each other.
Brad’s teams used to play great defense but they don’t anymore and the don’t talk to each other about who they have either.
I could go on, maybe they don’t get much practice time.
We have some good players this year hopefully we don’t blow it. This loss should help them get the player’s attention.

the kitchen, when Tyson passed on an open easy 3 from the top of the key to drive the lane and shoot a contsted 2, which he missed, and I guess I said outloud," Son...don't pass up an easy shot to go take a hard shot..."...and Mrs. Spud yelled up, "Who are you talking to?"........

Basketball is my 2nd favorite sport to watch with baseball close behind it but both behind football obviously. But I've stopped watching the Clemson games as much years ago which saddens me to my core. But I can't subject myself to the same old same old. It just isn't good for my mental health. I thought about listening to the game tonight on the radio and now am thankful I didn't.
