But we need to win tomorrow. Need to win all the mid week games need to take 2 of three to GT. 2 of 3 to Virginia and sweep BC. That put us 14 and 15 in ACC play And I think Clemson in a Regional.

Welp despite the idiots and robots here. I’m a realist. Louisville is legit top 10 I believe we are legit top 20. If we miss the regional we will be the best team not to make a regional.

Ha. Yeah I don’t see how anyone who watches college baseball thinks this is a Regional team much less Top 20.
The non-conference schedule will not help Clemson come postseason selection time. The S. Carolina sweep doesn’t look very impressive anymore due to how bad they are. The UGA sweep will be a positive on the resume, however the 14 or 13 and 0 record to start the year was possible by playing a lot of really bad teams. Combine that with a bad conference record, I’m not seeing how their even in the first 4 out category.
It would probably take sweeping several remaining series along with winning the ACC Tourny . Looking at it as objectively as I can, I do not believe they have the pitching or hitting to make a substantial run like that.
We will soon find out

Probably the alarming part of this season is the number of folks who are confused as to why it’s this bad. It’s almost as if some haven’t watched the last 7 years.
At this point, it’s not whether it’s broken, it’s how far will Neff let it sink to the bottom of the ocean. Clemson should not be a lower tier baseball school in a conference that has 4 or 5 teams up North that doesn’t try very hard at baseball.
The one and only positive with transfer rules nowadays, a new coach can come in and totally remake a roster in a couple years.
My opinion is there’s no option now but to do what should have been done after last year, I really believe if DRad hadn’t already checked out last May, he would have made a move then.

DRad wouldn’t have made a move cause he didn’t care about baseball, understood that it’s a net negative to the AD financially, and he only fired Leggett because some major booster were mildly inconveniencing him with phone calls and emails. Said boosters don’t even really follow baseball either, they were just pissed sCar had won two titles and wanted red meat. They don’t care now because Scar sucks too. Our relative position to them is all our biggest boosters give a crap about which is why Brownell and Lee still have jobs yet Swinney had to win a National Championship (and beat sCar) before he had real job security. Swinney’s 2014 contract included buyout reductions and clawbacks from future employment past year three and didn’t even place him in the top 20.

Yep d rad didn’t care on baseball. There are somethings the stadium needs to be improved on as well. He doesn’t or he didn’t care.
