Betting odds on next LSU coach.

First I've seen of this. So far I've seen people speculating and throwing names out all over the place. From Nick Saban to Deion Sanders. (Seriously, several LSU fans are saying they should hire Deion.)
Guys who make these odds know far better than I who the serious candidates are. Doesn't mean I'm gonna bet on any of them. Just posting them. I'll comment after the list.
Lane Kiffin 5/2 Luke Fickell 11/2 Billy Napier 7/1 Jimbo Fisher 15/2 Billy O'Brien 17/2 Mark Stoops 17/2 Bob Stoops 9/1 James Franklin 19/2 Joe Brady 10/1 Mel Tucker 12/1 Dave Aranda 14/1 Urban Meyer 14/1 Jon Gruden 100/1
My know nothing speculation is the next coach will come from this list (in no particular order):
Fickell, Napier, Bob Stoops, James Franklin, Mel Tucker, Dave Aranda.
I would guess that #1 on their wish list is James Franklin. He's a minority (which a bunch of folks are speculating that is a requirement from the LSU president). Heck, he won at Vandy! Why can't he win at LSU?
I suspect that James Franklin will definitely fatten his wallet this year with USC and LSU jobs both being open. His agent is Trace Armstrong, a Jimmy Sexton protege.

I'm thinking the LSU people would like to have Joe Brady back as their HC. As their OC, he was a huge part of their 2019 NC team.

Interesting whose name is NOT on that list - Tony Elliot. Last year - probably so. This year - not so much.

But according to one tnetter TE is the greatest thing since sliced bread. You would think since they supposedly want to hire a black coach, according to bretfsu, TE would be at the top of the list.

Mel Tucker is the only one on that list that I would place a bet on.
I personally think that the next coach is not on the list Brett posted

Franklin won at Vandy because they changed the requirements for Athlete Admittance(made it much easier). After recruiting some bad apples (including convicted rapists), the Administration was happy to see him go! As soon as he left, Athlete admissions were significantly tightened again.

What, don’t you know what year it is? You can’t say that. You’re talking about a black man, kinda, and corruption

LSU will pay any amount of $$. They will not hire an assistant like TE as they will want proven and also splash. I doubt any happy coach already being paid well will go there. The best out there will be Freeze and I don't think they go there.
Maybe Bob Stoops wants back, maybe not.
For the new guy it will be all about the money. If you are making 3 million and they offer 12 --? My guess is an NFL guy.
