Against NCST three hours before the game started. We should have done the same against FSU.

FSU cancelled a home game
It’s up to them to deal with their own financial loss from their choice to cancel

Whim I have no way of knowing, I imagine that Clemson was reimbursed for travel and associated expenses

If not, sure…
But Clemsons financial loss for a road game vs Holiday Bowl loss has to be drastically different

the league losses in tv revenue for one of the highest rated regular season game in any season was probably not insubstantial. I imagine that draws a lot more eyeballs than the Holiday Bowl. So, the entire ACC should have sued them.

Why is anyone ever so distraught about the FSU cancellation?

They were garbage. We were going to win by 60. They gave us a win. We had no injuries.

We ended up winning the national championship. Who knows, maybe someone would’ve gotten injured against FSU in that game.

Clemson didn't win the Natty in 2020. That's when FSU canceled during the Covid Season I thought.


I think what really POed everyone is because of the loss at Notre Dame two weeks before with TL out and then they had to sit through an open week the following week only to be canceled by FSU. Fans were anxious after sitting for two weeks to get back on the winning side of things. It's totally understandable. Also didn't little Norvell act as if it were Clemson's fault.

Didn’t we also offer to test all of our players again and wait 2 days to play the game at FSU if all tested negative? When FSU declined that offer as well, suspicions were raised that they just did not want to lose the game…and that aggravated the situation.
