Several nut jobs at Auburn are saying that DJ is going to enter the transfer portal because Dabo benched him, and that DJ will be the answer to Auburn's woes. And I thought Finebaum was the most deranged, so-called football expert.

Those are probably some of the same boosters who were trying to keep players from committing to Auburn and trying to convince current Auburn players to transfer after last season so they would have more reasons to fire the coach.

I have a feeling DJ is going to attempt to go pro after this season. I don't think he will be drafted before the 5th round though. After week 3 I said he would never get drafted(I was wrong) then he put together a bunch of games with NFL caliber throws at random, some team will grab him to see if they can fix him(footwork and eyes wise) bc he has immense potential at the next level bc of the rocket arm attached to his right shoulder. His inconsistencies at Clemson are mainly due to scheme imo, the scheme is very good when you have the right personnel though.

I think Ross is with bengals. May be wrong. Had surgery on foot and is out for the year. They were supposedly very impressed by his camp.

was doing to make the 2021 DJ come back. He was having excellent games. Although, I could see some tendencies creeping back in against FSU. Maybe he can re-focus and be ready at ND.

DJ sat for a year and deserves to play every year henceforth if he is the best QB on the team. The decision to stay or play is between him and God. Dabo, I suspect, has advised several players to make the move enabling them to fulfill their dreams and goals in life.
I know how a coach can do that and feel good about his decision. I fired a teenager once because he announced to me that he wasn't returning to high school. I couldn't be part of him missing an education for fear of his prospective future failures and the possibility that I'd have a hand in it.
None of this addresses the thought that DJ might be taking a scholarship from a prospect which needs next year to develop and will go somewhere that can provide that for him.
I wasn't suggesting that DJ puffs up and claims he feels like he got 'slapped in the face.'

and still believe he will.
IMO, it will become obvious during spring practice next year Cade is better and DJ will decide to transfer somewhere he can be the starter.
If DJ craters and Cade is named the starter during THIS season, he won't bother waiting until spring to hit the portal.
