HELP!!! Iptay / ticket question

My wife has purchased 4 season softball tickets as a surprise for our daughter from an IPTAY member. He released the tickets to her. She now needs to transfer them to our daughter but there’s no option showing to transfer. Are we missing a step? This is new to us.

Can you download them to your phone then text or email them to your daughter?

Yes, she downloaded to her phone but there’s no option to transfer.

Call the Clemson ticket office. It sounds like you have purchased tickets from an IPTAY member and that your wife has possession of the tickets. She just needs to tell the ticket office that she wants to transfer the tickets to someone else.

That’s correct. We did something similar for football. My niece buys tickets from an Iptay member. He transfers them to her. If she doesn’t use them she transfers them to my daughter. For whatever reason that’s not an option with these tickets.

If they are transferred they should show up under your or her name where you go log in to Iptay. Then you can put them in your wallet.

That’s where the issue is. Once in her wallet there’s no option to transfer. When she tries it tells her she has no transferable tickets.

I agree with another poster. I think you need to transfer them from an account and not the wallet. However, contacting ticket office is the best option.

From the wallet, do you have the 3 little dots on the top right of the ticket screen? Click that, then you should get the option to share (icon is a box with an arrow pointing up). Then you can just text the image to another phone.

GWood is correct. They cannot be transferred from your wallet. That changed dor the last football season. You have to be logged in to your account to transfer from there. Your daughter also has to have an account to accept them. Once you transfer them to your daughter you will still be able to see them in your wife’s wallet but they will no longer be scannable from there.

Had the same problem when trying to transferring tix to a friend . After calling tix office, was informed that a drop down page was missing on their site. After they corrected it ,problem was solved.
