Football Only League?

What are the chances that they do a football only league for the supposed "Big Boys" and they deposit back to their respective Conferences where they remain in the other sports?

Further down the board someone mentioned a collaboration in the works between PAC and BIG12. If BIG10 would cooperate with ACC in this way that would also help out in the near term. Probably lose the SC State, UConn type game from the schedule.

teams play in one conference in football and another conference in all other sports.

That might actually be a viable solution.

That is where we may eventually end up after the dust settles. For the foreseeable future, however, the SEC holds a significant advantage with the recent additions. No way they're going to give back that advantage and even the playing field by establishing a Big Boy league where their teams share the money evenly with the other Big Boys. SEC is now going to fight to keep their money advantage by maintaining the status quos for the foreseeable future.

we pretty much do that now. No one here gives a carp about hoops except to gripe--- why cant it be like football.
