And who would be in the other conferences?
And is a 20 team conference a conference or a league?
And don't we need a commissioner(s) to pick teams, like we did in grade school?
Don't we want/need the conferences to be somewhat geographic?
Will they rename the SEC if a number of those schools are not in the southeast? (No one has ever considered Oklahoma or Missouri as SOUTHEAST states).

And can someone please define the endgame in this shuffling? Do 19 teams want to fight it out to be the #2 team in a mega conference?

You do realize that Missouri was a "slave state"? That pretty much associates them with the "South East" even though they're in the "Mid-West" zone. Nothing political or racist here, just facts.

No.

Money talks. Bowl games are becoming(have been) irrelevant. Bowl games used to mean something, but just about any time you watch them now, there is absolutely noone in the stands. Playoffs bring freshness to the concept and another way of getting more people interested. I would imagine with the new NIL options, its only gonna get worse. Someone I was reading was talking about streaming services getting into the college football business. All ends up being the mighty dollar. If the college concept continues to follow the NFL, super groups wont matter. They'll all be broken back down again into managable groups in another few decades

Then how would you get four SEC teams in and still have room for other conferences?

You may think I'm high, but most are already saying the SEC will get in at least five teams in the playoffs every year.

I think TX, OK, and SEC jumped the gun expecting the 12 team playoff to be approved.

If the rest of the college football world has any brains or balls, they will all veto that and make it conference champions only regardless of number of teams. Give the greedy SEC one team only, and stick it to the greedy biased eSECpn at the same time. They may not have much power left, but they have the power and votes to make that happen. Time to stop letting Skanky dictate to everyone else.
