Based my experience, I would avoid coming in on I-126 through town. I'd take I-26 to I-77 and come in on Bluff Rd. The closer you get, the more the parking will be until you pass by the stadium, then prices will start dropping.
There should be Clemson folks most anywhere, but it won't be possible to avoid coots. I'd take some extra food to give to the drunk coots parked around you to make friends and maybe they won't mess with your car after you head to the stadium. I'd also not leave the car with flags in the windows or magnets on the car. If the coots win, be prepared to get in a fight after the game when trying to return to your car.
Good luck and Go Tigers!

Also, take hand sanitizer. Extra hand sanitizer.

Pretty much wherever you can in a well lit area. Down town and Uber might be best. I’ve been there way too many times and dread the place.

Most of the parking is pay parking, but you better get there 3-4 hours before the game, or bring you a bicycle bc, once all the pay parking is used up, it's a good walk to the chicken coop!!! Plus, if you have a concealed carry permit, you should be carrying while tailgating bc, coots, and opposing fans tailgate close to each other. No kidding, it is a dangerous place for opposing fans, especially Clemson fans....

Park downtown and ride the bus to the stadium. Safer, cheaper and faster. Go Tigers.

for young drunk gals giving you a continual middle finger & hollering/screaming 'F**k you' as you leave the stadium...they practice this tactic during the off-season & have it down pat.

Lots of abandoned warehouses to choose to park by off of Shop Road. Park on the stadium side of Shop Road so you can get on it after the game to I-77.
Be careful and keep your head on a swivel.

Don't take the kids or wife. A construction site helmet might be useful. Bring a bag to collect new batteries. Always move around in groups; even going to the head. Try to remain calm as coot fans show you their IQ via hand sign. (Or mabye it's the number of known parents. I forget which.) BUT, if you hang in and wait until the middle of the third quarter, it gets a LOT better. In fact, you'll be able to move to 50 yard line seats and enjoy watching the Tigers finish kicking the ever livin doodoo out of the coots. lol. Enjoy your trip.
GO TIGERS!
