Tailgating Lots in Charlotte for Clemson vs UGA????

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to tailgate at the Clemson UGA game in Charlotte??? Lots of what I am seeing are parking decks; i.e. no tailgating.

Distance is relative.. plenty of outdoor parking

On west moorhead st 3-4 blocks away from stadium.

Get into the stadium an hr early. Even crappy acc champ games are hard to get into.

Boa is truly the worst NFL stadium I've been to as far as getting in and out of.

Superdome is the worst stadium ive ever been to.

Cowboy and cardinal stadium have their stuff together.

We are actually staying at the Westin a few blocks away and dont have tickets - not sure if we will get them or not so we wanted to at least tailgate before or during the game? Just want to be part of the fun!

cross the highway. it will be on your right . the parking lot behind it is paid and usually not full. Park there.. the parking attendant will charge you on the spot.. if you get there early she/he will find you and you can pay then.

parked there a couple times i've stayed at the westin. .. no problems..

if that doenst work out.. just drive down the steet .. you wil find an open lot

You are correct about the Dallas AT@T Stadium. Went to the Cowboys-Jags game yesterday to see Trevor. Easy entrance and plenty of ushers to help out. I realize it was an exhibition game and crowds were probably about 50% capacity but still a good experience!!

I was at the Superdome for the NC and it was not too bad but BOA Stadium in Charlotte is definitely the worst as far as getting in the stadium that I have experienced.

I have park on W. Moreland Street for every ACC Championship game I have attended. Paved lot with some trees and pretty good tailgating spot. Also, close to Pinky's and another Burger Bar that I have forgot the name. About a mile walk to the stadium but easy out when game is over.

Scout out a good location and "get a spot early"!

If you have never been to Bank Of America Stadium early - know this - it's in uptown so parking is at a premium.
There are some good parking spots but you may a few good blocks to walk to get to the stadium.

Try and arrive early to avoid any confusion on entering the stadium ( if you are unfamiliar ). I go to Panthers games frequently and recently parked on a side of the stadium I hadn't before. It was a bit discombobulating. Plenty of good spots to hang out in uptown Charlotte. But, to get the best spot for tailgating you will be out closer to Moorhead(further down ).

One of a number of reasons the Panthers want to build a stadium outside of Rock Hill. They can get a bigger piece of that parking.

With that said, there are some great tailgating spots to get you just need to claim them early!

But it cannot be stressed enough. If you want to be in your seats for kickoff, you need to be outside the stadium and ready to go in an hour before. Wait any longer and it’s 50/50 whether you will make it. You get outside the stadium 30 minutes before and odds are not in your favor.

Good advice and much appreciated. I’m traveling with an old timer and tend to try to get an extra beer or three at the tailgate. We’ll head in very early.

BofA will be selling beer for this game, right?

The lots on Poplar Street are usually full of Clemson fans at ACC championship but they weren't available as an event parking lot for this game for some reason. Going to try to get there early and get one around there if it's available.
