Not real sure what to think about this. Never been to a CU practice so not sure what it is compared to other top tier programs.

I do remember going to a Clem-UNC football game back when Barnes was the bball coach. I went into LJ to get warm and sat and watched Barnes run his practice and to say I was impressed would be a understatement. Those guys went into one drill right into the next. Very intense to say the least and you seen how his teams performed in the ACC with less than top tier talent.

Probably different if he was an offensive player. During the week, Dabo only came over to the defensive side of practice once or twice a week for a couple minutes

He played WR for Clemson. Dabo is very involved

with the WRs. So he saw that side as well.

I think both Venables and Smart are both intense.

Venables was the same at practice as he was during the game!

Kendrick projected as high as the first round? Whichever team did that would quickly regret it when he gets smoked by a receiver with actual talent. He does great against receivers who will never see an NFL field, but when he goes up against talented receivers he simply can’t cover them.

Had mentioned in another post that DB is really pretty new for him. Played QB in high school. We moved him to WR then to DB. Seems that position would take a lot of experience to truly be good at it. Going to get him in the league but he will need to get better to be a solid corner.

As long as he can hold them he looks good but not so much if has to defend clean.

He didn't say anything bad about clemson and it's understandable not having fast practices with so many young players and injuries. He did say we focused on the right things. Teams do things differently not a big surprise.

What he said was not negative--in fact, he was complimentary.

“They try to do everything right, in class, or on the field,” Kendrick said, asked what made Clemson a championship program during his time there.

Yea not sure how to take it. Some good stuff mentioned but then I felt he thought Dabo ran lax practices. I guess all practices across the country are very different I would imagine.

sound about right

he got this from Saban, that is how he has always run his practices and will look to squeeze every minute out of the small amount of time they get with these kids. I seem to recall Morris being the same way when he was here.
