Big differences last ...

Oct 20, 2013, 7:59 AM

FSU receivers actually CATCH the ball. Unlike our guys who drop 1 out of 3. FSU defensive backs can actually tackle, cover receivers, and break up passes ... Ours look like they are playing touch football most of the time. FSU running backs will actually lower their shoulder and get 3 yards instead of dancing around for a 1 yard gain. And, the FSU QB is much more accurate on his passes. Didn't see him launch a few into the turf like ours did. Overall, they are just a more talented team that plays with much more confidence than our guys.Oh well, on to next week. We still have a great shot at being 10-1 before we head to Columbia.

night was that their DBs were on Clemson WRs like blankets and their WRs roamed free like gazelles on the Serengeti.

I agree. I don't understand our pass coverage at all. They need 10 yards for a first and we have a 10 yard cushion. We are not good at DB simple as that. Even Blank's INT to me was luck. I have not seen the replay but the wide receiver was wide open before the ball was thrown and I don't think Blanks was staring down the QB. I have to see the replay of that one.

With guys that wide open it makes it a lot easier to be a Heisman candidate. Actually FSU QB is very good/great especially for a freshman.

DB's were far more athletic than ours. That's recruiting and

a huge area of need. WR, we're thin this year and it showed. Still biggest difference was the lines. But Winston is the #1 overall pick in 2015

Isn't recruiting supposed to be our strong point?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Far better than it was. We've recruited well, not top 5

though. FSU has, those elite 5 star guys they've signed and we've missed on are a huge difference. Just like for Bama

Who is the leader on our team?

Oct 20, 2013, 8:27 AM

We have plenty of good players, but who is the leader? Looks like Tajh is the closest thing we have to a leader, but where is the vocal, confident, in your face field general that every team needs?

More talented by a small margin, better prepared

and maybe better coached by a wide margin. Flawless play isn't just a matter of talent, it's set by how the team is managed week in and week out by the coaches. FSU has steadily better all year. We have been up and down, especially on offense.
