Sounds like it from what I read. Honestly, Richt has no excuse not to at least win the SEC once in the next few years.

Jay Rome. UGA does less with more talent than any program in America. If they couldn't win the SEC east the last two season with the huge talent advantage they had over everyone else in that division then they'll always be a runner up.

offense as Bama with the power running game setting up deep play action passes to explosive WRs, but LSU seems to forget they are allowed to throw the ball at times. I guess they've had trouble recruiting competent QBs, but that's also kind of baffling.

Don't be surprised if he commits to Michigan. I've heard that it's his dream school and he'll be the big recruit that Harbaugh needs to get them back on track.

He decommitted after visiting Texas and LSU.
The young man is a 5-star TE who has his choice of schools. He can play literally anywhere he wants.

even though he attends IMG, his parents live less than an hour from Athens and I think the parents being able to watch him play may end-up being a big factor in his final decision.

like so many of these impressionable kids, his favorite school seems to be the one he visited most recently. That said, at this point UGa seems to be in as good a position with him as anybody.

Since when? Georgia is a pretty solid academic school and one of the best in the SEC behind Vandy and maybe Florida.

Best TE prospect since Dorial Green-Beckham

and Green-Beckham was essentially a WR lining up at TE, better pass catcher than Nauta but not as good at the dirty work of being a TE.

Nauta's short area quickness is insane for a guy his size. He was breaking ankles of much smaller dbs at the opening.

UGA was #2 for me too. Down in old Allendale County across from Sylvania we could always pick up the play by play of Munson on Saturdays we didn't play in the Valley or on the way home from Death Valley.

3 factors for me liking Clemson...
Jul 28, 2015, 2:11 PM
|
|
1. Clemson offered my grandfather a football scholarship. He had to take a job so his family could make ends meet and couldn't go, but I appreciate that.
2. My Uncle was a big Clemson booster(he was one of the handful disassociated from the program after Galen Hall) and would let us go see Clemson play with his tickets when I was a kid. I've been to more Clemson games than many on this board.
3. I would rather see a GA kid go to Clemson than to Tennessee/Auburn/Carolina since we won't have to face him annually. Who knows, if we had to play Clemson annually I might could generate some hate but hard to do that when we play so little. I guess my enemy's enemy is my friend.

one of the massive rivalry games that people from Boston to California looked for early in the football season. And the clashes were epic in the 80's when I was growing up. I miss this annual clash of the 2 teams an hour apart divided by the Savannah River.

Dont understand the draw to Uga...all the 5 stars go there every year
Jul 29, 2015, 8:15 PM
|
|
and they end up underachieving. Uga is known as the choke school of the Sec so why keep ranking them 10 spots too high every year and watch them lose a game or two they "shouldn't" lose. I've never seen a UGA season turn out the way ESPN or the national polls think it should. They always pull elite talent and stockpile elite talent but end up with nothing. Not to mention the Sec east has been a cakewalk to win the past 10-12 years. I just don't get how the do nothing ever.

I wouldn't of minded seeing him in a Tiger jersey. Well, him or Binjimen Victor but that ship sailed a long time ago. Victor and Korey Charles were supposed to stop by Clemson after the UT stop but instead went straight to UGA.
