They didn’t bother to add captions. Made it very difficult for my deaf self to understand anything that was said.

Other than that, I really enjoyed the show.

Yep, interesting... captions did not work on my TV either!

Glad that 'Southern' is my first language, grin....
Loved the documentary!

I have that problem where I can hear just about anything, even frequencies that 99% of people my age can't hear. But i have a really hard time understanding the words I'm hearing. Forget trying to carry on a conversation with background noise. Anyway, I'm not sure if CC is set up through my TV or through YouTubeTV, but the 81 show had CC when I watched it. I watched some on YTTV on my TV and some on my phone. CC worked for both.
