Chad's O has failed miserably against fast, strong and taken loaded defenses.

At Vandy, in the SEC, all he's going to see are faster, stronger and more talented defenses. Would be a poor decision for Vandy to hire morris imo. He needs to be at a school with players who can get past defenses with speed, and wear a D out physically throughout a game. Neither of which will happen at Vandy. Not necessarily the most charismatic guy as far as the recruiting trail goes, either.
Good luck to him if he takes off, but Scar and FSU prove that with similar or better talent to match up opposite his players on offense, he panics, prematurely diverts from his game plan and essentially folds.
UF, UGA (Pruitt), SCAR, TENN, LSU, BAMA, AU and aTm would all sincerly thank Vandy.

That's because FSU is more talented than what we are. Has nothing to do with the scheme.

The notable exception of course, being LSU ...

But, at Vandy, he won't inherit a Tajh Boyd, Nuk Hopkins, nor will he pull in a Sammy Watkins. He will have to chicken salad outta ... well, you know.

Too bad no one will pay you for your in depth analysis.

Maybe you should send a copy of this to the search firm working for Vandy. They might find it.......entertaining?

LSU is not an exception because

We heard for weeks how much more physical they were and soft we were , when we actually had highly talented sleeping beasts of giants waiting for someone to tap into their physicality.... which happened for a month in practice leading up to that game.... very physical practices. And the chip on our shoulder to prove to the country that were could match their physicality (not possible at vandy), allowed us to do just that and come away with the win.

How does any of that make it not an exception?

[ in reply to LSU is not an exception because ] |

Our offense laid it to one of the most fastest, strongest, most talented defenses in the country. How they did it ... why they did it is open to debate, but the fact that they DID do it is not debatable.

I love Chad Morris... just think he needs to pump the brakes a little bit

With all of these interviews.... Vandy won't be a good fit for him, as I've already stated, and he needs to wait for a program that has built in recruiting advantages because he won't be able to recruit top notch assistants.... especially to a place like vandy. Which means he'll have trouble getting players to buy in as well. Franklin is a rare personality type, very charismatic and enthusiastic. Best guy they've ever had at head coach, and will be VERY hard to replace.

Let's play pick your games to make a point Morris had more talent at Clemson than he would ever get at Vandy especially at the skill positions. Hasn;t everyone been talking about Morris would never take little ole Vandy, he is too good for that lowly job. he will get bigger and better...now it seems maybe he is interested and the OP makes a sensible statement about inconsistency with the most talent Clemson has had in years and more at the skill positions than most top 10 teams have ever had
Dabo and Chad have won games against top 20 opponents when they have over a month to prepare, LSU, UGA, Auburn, OSU
How do they fare when playing week to week
5 losses to USc, FSU spanking,

So, your chicken brain has determined Clemson is 4-6 against Top 20 or Top 25 teams???
How many games has the OBC lost to teams NOT in Top 20 or Top 25 in that same period of time??? 'Cuz I can't think of a single game Clemson has lost to an unranked team in a long time. Certainly not since Chad Morris has been at Clemson. I suppose we'll just have to content ourselves momentarily in being one game below .500 against some of the highest ranked teams in America.
'Course, the Tigers didn't lose to some 3-8 team from Knoxville this season to keep us out of a BCS bowl either.

They'll be embarrassed regularly in the HUNH. Really? You want to try and score in less than 2-23 minutes and give SEC powers more chances to come up with a big play (s) to win the game. Only shot they'll have is to try and play keep away and limit the number of possessions their oppenents will have.

usc Jr is 2-4 in the last 3 years vs. ranked sec teams

Strong sec schedule, considering Clemson's only 3-2 vs. ACC top 15 teams past 3 years.
Just some ranked game comparisons to think about

But Chad's offense hasn't embarrassed them.
Our offense sputters against good defenses. The stats prove it.
Good thing Dabo made a great hire and turned our defense around.

SC didn't prove a ### thing this year. Clemson proved it can lose to a lesser team with at least 6 turn overs.
